ZELIA HORSLEY JEWELLERY AW11 collection “Bound With Expectation” is a striking and fearless concept created to be empowering. A marriage of opposites with seemingly chaotic results, explosions of surface texture, dramatic changes in scale result in a bold controlled architectural elegance. The use of formed and shaped acrylic plates introduce new sculptural and spatial possibilities.
In conjunction with the sensitive use of chain manufactured in an earlier century, these pieces take their inspiration from industrial functional objects belonging to a previous era, and transform them into modern, opulent feminine adornments. The stacked unisex bracelets (also included in Zelia Horsley’s Fancy Man range) are slick, chic and utterly wearable. Designed to be “Stacked” but look just as intriguing alone.
