Inspiration
My inspiration for this necklace is is bond with history. Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz often used in jewelry. The name comes from the Ancient Greek and means "not"+"intoxicated", a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness; the ancient Greeks and Romans wore amethyst and made drinking vessels of it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication.Amethyst is known to be February birth stone.
Description
A round light lavender violet amethyst stone, set in a crocheted bezel made of 14 gold filled, the bezel is created in unique shape that resembles a potion bag.
This design is available also in sterling silver and oxidized silver.
