Inspiration
This collection is based on process and repetition. When designing I'm excited by following a process without knowing how the finished piece will turn out.
Description
Simple but striking the Palm necklace is formed from hand cut pieces of soft graduated rubber and threaded onto burnished steel chain. It's about wearing this piece as much as been seen wearing it. The soft rubber is warm and tactile and will attract attention!When I design I play with a material making shapes and experimenting with ways to complement the body. This piece designed itself! The rubber cut in graduated lengths gives the piece an organic feel. Finished in a subtle silvery gold with a sweep of white and on the reverse side mainly simple black. Message me if you'd like on gold plated chain and simple gold sprayed finish.
Dimension/Size
The longest section is approx 25cm, overall width is around 18cm and the chain is adjustable.
Material Used
The main material is rubber reclaimed from bicycle inner tubes. The chain is stainless steel (or gold plated if requested)
