The Story

I was born in Paris but moved to a small island in the Carribean at a very young age and then moved again to Milan, Italy, when I was 10 years old. This is the city where I grew up and where I studied litterature at university and then goldsmith's art in 2010.

I start creating lace jewellery in 2006 when my mother was still a decorator and used lace to create great finishing for furnitures and other objects; that's when we had the idea: why not creating big, colorful and light earrings made of lace! All my friends wanted a pair of the earrings me and my mom were creating, then by word of mouth we start selling them and in 2009 we opened our first boutique in Milan. In 2010 our jewellery became the actual brand: Tità Bijoux! We called it Tità because it is my grandmother's name as well as my third name and we like the fact that ours is a family (and female) business! The inspiration for my jewellery comes from everything that surrounds me but most of all from the travelling: everytime I visit a new country or a new city I pay a lot of attention to the architecture, the people, the fashion and especially the colors.
