Shadras handmade Jewellery group contains of three sisters: Shiva, Mahsa and Melissa. We each have different professions - painter, architect, graphic designer. Having trained in jewellery design and making for 3 years under the three different design philosophies, we started with copper and brass and then approached silver and gold.
We take inspiration from our surroundings such as nature, architecture, Iranian culture and calligraphy, which influence our works and together help us formulate our design ideas. The design is of much greater importance to us than the intrinsic value of materials we work with. Every piece is made by hand in our studio. We design on paper at first then make all pieces by hand - curving, casting and sawing the metal sheets, using different elements such as semi precious stones, porcelain painting, and wood. Our styles vary from traditional to modern. We create a wide range of designing for every occasion. Innovation has been the most important element in our design, as our goal is to create a creative and unique art work while our imagination. We make jewellery for all segments of society without ostentation but with class and style regardless of price.Read less
