Inspiration
Cartagena, Colombia's architecture, culture, history and people define this old fortressed city. I walk past the home of Gabriel García Márquez, dreaming of Love in the Time of Cholera. The summer heat is all consuming as I travel down the narrow, winding cobblestone streets seeking my own inspiration. Casa no. 3, a small home on a side street, captures my attention. The front door's design, color and vintage lion knocker tell me without entering that someone of importance to this community, someone with standing, someone with style, lived here hundreds of years ago. But among an array of colorful doors with elaborate knockers, this door is not seeking to be noticed. Only those who travel their own path would ever find and experience its classic beauty. Here, at Casa no. 3, I have found the inspiration for Sandra Cadavid.

Description
I designed this artfully, hand-woven clutch to have a classic yet chic appearance. Made from custom dyed high quality leather and custom 24-karat gold plated hardware, the Sofia Clutch is suited for fun and casual days or evening cocktails with friends. Also available in Black.
Each handbag is handcrafted from custom high quality leather, using colors reserved only for my collection. I selected the leather for its quality, color variation, and striking appearance that becomes more distinct with time. For this particular clutch, I combined several color palettes to find the perfect tone, one that ultimately reminded me of the serene Sedona, Arizona landscape. My bags also include custom designed hardware that, depending on the bag, is 24 Karat gold-plated, silver-plated or a vintage finish. My partners in Cali, Colombia construct all the bags by hand; a laborious process with results that are unmatched in the industry.
I maintain a small inventory of the bags, and am able to ship any bags in inventory at the time of purchase.
