Inspiration
Weavers, mothers, spinners of life, whisperers of stories. Spider webs are as windows into dreams, gentle patterns swaying in the wind, their creators poised like bright gems in the centre waiting patiently for time to unfold, gathering wisdom to them like morning dew.
In Western culture spiders are often feared, in other cultures spiders symbolise female creativity and our ability to weave our future. I like this contradiction and designed the spider in a distinctly feminine form with a subtle suggestion to overcome our fears and create our own destiny.
Description
These earrings were designed and made by hand in my studio in East London.
The spider is cast, hand finished and then oxidised to give an antiqued feel.
The earrings feature Sterling Silver Scalloped Leverback Ear hooks which are secure and ensure you won’t lose your earrings!
Your earrings will be packaged in a hand folded tissue paper inside a hand stamped gift box along with brand postcard. Please see image with example packaged item.
