Hello This is MOMO. I studied fine art and trained jewellery making in Japan. After I graduated MA Jewellery at Central St. Martins in London, and established 'momcreatura'. My jewellery explores the boundaries between reality and fantasy. Influenced by European antique jewellery, dark and enchanted fairy-tales, the references are combined to create figurative macabre objects in delicate details, which can be seen as 3D illustration or miniature sculptures.
The silver and gold pieces are finely hand-crafted, assemblages of child-like imaginations, suggestive of ambiguous, twisted humour.I follow my deep passion to create unique and timeless pieces that I hope would be treasured by many who own them. momocreatura is for people, who dress to express themselves, who have a distinct style of their own, not afraid to try new aesthetics and curious enough to glance into another world.
