"Sela" means rock in Hebrew, and in this series I am exploring landscape through the surface of a single rock I found while hiking in the desert in Israel. I am interested in the range of surfaces that can be extracted from a single small stone.
“Sela” means rock in Hebrew, and these stud earrings are made by taking impressions from a stone I found in the desert in Israel. They are 3-dimensional and have a crater-like cavity in the middle. They are beautifully textured to resemble the face of a rock, and shine in the light. They are also lightweight and easy to wear as a complement to anything.
