Eris, Goddess of Discord, tossed a Golden Apple into a wedding attended by the Gods of Olympus. Inscribed on the Apple was the word, "Kalliste," "for the prettiest." A fight broke out. When the smoke cleared, the three remaining contenders were Hera, Athena and Aphrodite.
This romantic necklace plays homage to the greek/roman mythology. A pristine antique cameo shows Hera, Athena and Aphrodite dancing on the set of the judgement of Paris. Vintage gold tone chains (some costume, others plated) hang from one side, and faux pearls and vintage glass beads from the other side, creating a timeless piece of jewellery.
