Inspiration
This piece has been a pleasure to work on. The design of the cuff is inspired by the jewelry I was surrounded with when I still lived in Dallas, Texas, where I am from. I have always loved big, statement pieces, and this piece has a great color balance of black and gold, a classic for any occasion.
Description
The metalwork around this cuff is very elaborate: rich due to the wonderful gold plating, and elegant due to its almost baroque-like style. The cuff is adjustable which makes it easy to wear on top of sleeves too. The black and gold will also make it the perfect piece for any color outfit.
Dimension/Size
This cuff is 7 cm long and 4.5 cm at its widest. The stones are about 1 cm big.
Material Used
The metalwork is gold-plated brass with 20 microns of gold. The stone in the middle is a black onyx and the 4 around it are drusy quartz, a type of quartz found and used in jewelry in its natural state.
