“Passion and love are my main tools to create jewelry,” designer Larissa Landinez says. That’s never been truer than it is now – Larissa is in the process of making her own engagement and wedding rings. “My engagement ring is inspired [by] oysters and my future husband designed it himself,” Larissa says. She is committed to her signature square shape, so the wedding bands will be square with her beloved cuttlefish texture. In addition to preparing for her wedding, Larissa is making another big move. “[I’m] moving to Sydney, Australia after a wonderful and magnificent decade in Florence, Italy.” The move is a dramatic one, but Larissa is no stranger to big moves. She was raised in Venezuela and lived in New York before moving to Italy – Australia should be no big deal. Besides, Larissa has always designed for international women – she says it is her goal “to make a type of jewelry suitable to any woman in the world.” She has certainly succeeded.
