My textiles are inspired by colour, manipulated through hand dying processes and the layering of subtle patterns taken from nature’s still life.
Description
The scarf, dip-dyed by hand then screen-printed with a mix of subtle pattern in weathered shades of brown and green. The nature of the fabric, the dye techniques and the process of printing by hand means that all scarves will vary slightly …this also means your scarf is unique! The scarf is framed with a single line stitch and a softly frayed edge. Care is simple: Hand wash in cold water with delicate detergent, lay out flat immediately after washing or drip dry. Iron on reverse side only. Alternatively you can dry clean.
Dimension/Size
Dimensions: 65cm x 190cm, it’s long length means you can elegantly wrap it round your shoulders or casually gathered and knot for the perfect day time wear.
Material Used
Luxurious sand washed silk; is relatively light and very soft to touch.
