Nature is a source of endless inspiration for designer Justine Brooks – she’s based in Canada, with the sea nearby and wild animals in her backyard. Justine’s surroundings are a treasure trove of inspiration, and she sees almost everything as a potential adornment: “In my Spring 2012 collection, I cast a Wishbone Pendant from my Christmas dinner,” Justine says. Her trips around the world have also inspired her work. She spent a year living in Hong Kong and traveling through Southeast Asia, where she found seeds and shells that made it into her spring collection. Those delicate treasures, combined with pieces picked up on other travels make for a truly international collection.
