Inspiration

Until the Daybreak served as a narrative tribute to Daisy Hooper, a lady whose personal belongings Jessica found hidden within a 1950's handbag. Her life was reduced to the contents of this handbag and Jessica felt it her responsibility to mark Daisy's life.

Within the bag was a photograph of Daisy's bedroom and on her dressing table within this photograph, sat a bowl of apples. Jessica started to make jewellery, based on the objects within this room and used them as a means to speak about Daisy.

Description

Hand carved and painted resin apple with a hidden Cubic Zirconia worm on a silver plated 18ct rose or yellow gold necklace with JdL signature fob detail at the back.
