I first taught myself to make tassels after picking up some beautiful vintage ones in Morocco and going on to experiment with my own techniques. Details from illustrations in 1920s fashion magazines were another reference point when creating this signature piece.
Classic glamour of the flapper era brought bang up to date in classic silky black. Each earring is made up of a handmade tassel, bound with vintage copper wire and topped with a simple, chic silver ball stud.
Each tassel is approximately 10cm long, stud is 4mm wide. The earrings are not at all heavy, weighing less than 5g each.
Tassels are made using rayon thread secured with both silver plated and vintage copper wire and topped with a solid stirling silver ball stud. They are supplied with hypo-allergenic butterfly backs with an optional plastic surround for greater comfort.
