Dark Charcoal and lime long crocheted necklace.
Each step of the process from the dying of the yarn to crocheting and knotting is done by hand, so each piece is individually unique.
My Inspiration derived from a visit to Billingsgate fish market in London, where I was intrigued by the intense colour, interesting shapes and marvelous texture. I was in particular taken by a mass of curled up eels that appeared to be knotted and twisted around one another.
By dying all the yarn by hand i have much more control over the colors I use, it also means that each piece is even more unique as I only dye a small quantity of yarn each color.
