Patungok is a musical instruments from Kalinga, used mainly in peach pact ceremony. Especially, it was used among Kalinga tribes who were known as head hunt fighters. It is a percussion instrument. However, all those intangible cultures are vanishing in the village, and to use this instrument as motif is our solution to transmit those cultures to next generation.
This jewelry, combination of bamboo and rattan made patungok motif and carefully weaved rattan, was handmade by EDAYA craft man, Mr. Banasan.
Each jewelry has a serial number. We indicate the number in the certificate we issue.
