For edgy London style, look no further than EABurns. Designer Lizzie Burns launched the brand with the intention of building a fashion label, but found herself drawn to jewelry. “Largely my work has grown from an initial experimentation with leather,” Lizzie says. “I soon found out that quite large scraps were thrown away from factories, [so I] set about finding these factories and persuading them to sell their scrap to me instead of throwing it away.” These scraps are then cut, painted, varnished and used to make incredible jewelry. Lizzie’s inspirations are varied – her current collection features some pieces named for a dinosaur and a few others named for style icon Iris Apfel. Her angular, brightly colored leather pieces are surprisingly easy to wear. She calls her own style “simple but statement,” an apt description for this stunning, effortlessly cool brand.
