Because they are detachable you can wear these epaulets on any garment you want. The organic shape and a rhythmic structure make it an unusual layered volume. The item is made of thick woolen felt with a lining of silk and is completely made by hand.
The inspiration for this item came from the garments soldiers were wearing in the Middle Ages. They protected their shoulders with a beautifully layered sculpture so they could still move their arms easily.
