Radio-canada Earrings

Bursting with colour, these earrings are handmade from custom-fabricated flexible plastic polymer [translucent and opaque]. Light, pliable and comfortable to wear. Handmade sterling silver hooks.

Note: The third/last photo shown is intended to demonstrate the flexibility of the plastic polymer only [all designs in this collection are made from plastic polymer].

Part of Design + Conquer's Spring/Summer 2011 Venue collection. Lovingly handmade in Canada.

Design + Conquer Care:

Love your D + C design, and it will love you back! Please do not store flexible plastic polymer pieces on top of each other, folded, or in a very hot environment.

The best way to store your D + C earrings are in separate ziploc bags. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap.

To preserve colour, do not store in direct sunlight. Clean sterling silver hooks periodically with a silver cloth, or by rubbing them gently with toothpaste [and wiping this off afterwards].

The Story

A show-stopping fusion of industrial and organic aesthetic, Design + Conquer is jewellery gone rogue. DC’s Electro collection pushes DC’s aesthetic into another dimension. Inspired by electronic music, and fabricated using a unique 3D printing process, Design + Conquer’s latest collection is armed and ready for action.Incredibly light and covertly comfortable to wear, each piece in the collection is inspired by a specific electronica track. Teeel, Miami Horror, Teen Daze, Neon Indian and Apparat are among the collection’s many audio-turned-aesthetic influences.

Design + Conquer collaborated with musician Jim Smith of Teeel to produce the collection's preview video. Click here to view.DC’s Electro collection is divided into two lines: Compilation and Track. Designs in the Track line are ready for everyday action, and are armed with white, aqua and neon-pink accents. Pieces in the Compilation line are limited edition, and are available in exclusive, hand-applied—and customizable—colour accents.Founded in 2009, Design + Conquer has made its mark on the runway at Toronto Fashion Week, in Refinery29, MoCo Loco, Elle Canada, and has been exhibited internationally.
