The Story

I am a Brazilian photographer living in California and I started Costella in 2007. My grandmother (Antonietta) taught me how to sew, I use these valuable skills to make my own designs and samples to express my ideas from within. The inspiration for the bags comes from various photographs and fabrics, forms, patterns and colors. My designs usually have lots of pockets and space to be able to fit everyone's needs. The bags are extremely unique, a provide a refreshing change to the fashion world.

Costella provides a creative line for young women with a discerning and unconventional fashion sense. Each Costella handbag is created with impeccable detail and design, hand-sewn using the finest materials and presented in a limited number. There's nothing conservative about a Costella handbag.
