Inspiration
Coming from a family of Architects, my surrounding urban landscape plays a large role in my art making. I find inspiration in the fantastic coastline from which I come and in the man made structures that envelop my city life.
For this piece I experimented using materials that are common in building - wood, perspex (an alternative to glass) and metal (silver).
Description
This hand made layered laser cut ring uses a piece of etched wood sandwiched between two pieces of etched perspex and riveted together with silver tube rivets.
