Bundle MacLaren Millinery
London, United Kingdom
The Story
Since launching her own millinery label in 2009, Bundle has designed twelve headpieces for the Royal Wedding and co-presented with Paula Reed at Goodwood Festival. Her work has featured in Vogue, The Times, Easy Living, Bliss, Metro, Brides Magazine and You and Your Wedding. Bundle hails from a traditional millinery background – completing an apprenticeship with Gina Foster before studying millinery at the Kensington & Chelsea College under Noel Stewart.
Frustrated by the price and exclusivity of the hats she admires, and uninspired by the offerings on the high street, Bundle fills the gap between high fashion and high street. She caters for those wanting beautiful, statement headpieces at an affordable price; from £40 to £185. The Olympia Collection is the new jewel in milliner Bundle MacLaren’s crowning work. A mix of bold concept pieces, such as her nonchalant parrot, and whimsical designs off-setting her more classic hats, adds to her highly acclaimed hatfolio.Bundle is interested in shape and form, manipulating feathers and fabrics to startling sculptural effect. Her hats are the perfect touch of vibrancy for anyone wanting to wow at a wedding, steer attention from the race-track, or just add a top touch to day or night. The end result is a head crowned in glory in ode to this most British of Olympic years. All pieces are made by Bundle from her colourful kitchen in Battersea.
