Inspiration
The inspiration in most my scarf designs come from African patterns, also from the Ndebele women and their craft design. For generations these women from South Africa have made exceptionally rich and lively arts. In their ceremonial beading and paintings on their outside mudhouse walls, patterns are created in such a simplified way with very vibrant colour use, that look both modern and cool.
A classic for all seasons, this hand painted wool/silk blend stole has a luxurious look. This piece is painted in soft chair colours against a bright rose and black geometric forms .It is finished of with fringes to give an extra glamerous look. Adding to it that the wool keeps you warm and comfy while the silk adds the luxurious feeling to it. Each of my pieces are unique.
