Don’t get us wrong, the Boticca office is a very happy place. However, there are times when London’s grey skies can get us down. That’s when we start dreaming of holidays in far-flung locales. At the moment, our sights are set on the land Down Under. Australia’s incredible natural beauty and relaxed culture are certainly appealing, but the trek from London is… rough.
Since easyJet hasn’t nailed down a LHR>MEL route yet, we’ll satiate our appetite for all things Aussie with gorgeous photos of the landscape… and pieces from inSync Design, a collection of abstract jewelry based in Melbourne, Australia. The lightweight “Line” pieces come in a variety of colors and finishes and are great summer pieces. The graphic “Pebble” pieces are subtle but interesting conversation-starters.
While we’re on the subject of our favorite Aussies, let’s talk about scarves from another Melbourne-based brand, Kish & Evie Goodness. This Australian duo creates soft, fun scarves and shawls that feature spotlight-hogging embroidery. The team is as sweet as their scarves – an email from Kish is enough to make you adopt that optimistic Aussie attitude, even if it’s only for a few hours.
