Studio Tote by Studio Harlen

Bauhaus bags with Brutalist-inspired graphics? Yes please! Studio Harlen’s bags are super-functional and feature incredible geometric prints. The Studio Tote is huge (big enough to tote my so-overwhelming-it’s-almost-embarrassing arsenal of magazines and papers). With an arresting pattern and dramatic size, this bag looks like it should be displayed on a wall – this is truly wearable art.

Fresh Talent Alert – July 20th

Another week, another influx of amazingly creative and unique designers.

Mabel Hasell

Jewelry designer Mabel Hasell uses an unconventional approach to create her gem-studded jewelry. By using the lost wax casting technique to make each piece, Mabel gives her gemstones the chance to shift as molten metal flows around them. The technique allows the glittering gems to settle arbitrarily into silver or pewter, guaranteeing that each piece is completely original.

STUDIO HARLEN

STUDIO HARLEN is the product of two friends, Kate Underwood and Sophie Harris. Kate and Sophie met as university students, and combined their expertise in womenswear and graphic design respectively to create a line of accessories that feature stunning prints inspired by the Brutalist movement. The canvas bags are screen printed by hand and feature leather accents.
