Love Stories feature

Let’s be honest: Valentine’s Day isn’t anyone’s favorite holiday. When I brought up the topic with the rest of the team, we all gave a little cringe. We wanted to find a way to celebrate the holiday without turning to red roses and candy hearts. We decided to use our favorite cinematic love stories to celebrate love – not just romance, but the enduring love of great friendships, too. Click here to read the feature and if you truly love Valentine’s Day, let me know!

Fresh Talent Alert – September 14th

Posted in by

Another week, another influx of creative and unique designers.

Beau & Arrow

Beau & Arrow designer Kelly Bishop spent four years designing jewelry for high street brands in the U.K. before striking out on her own. After designing for a mass market, Kelly says she wanted to start creating pieces that were special to her. Though she is still attuned to high street trends, Kelly’s jewelry is now made to order. Each handmade Beau & Arrow piece is completely unique.

Moran Porat Jewelry

Moran Porat Jewelry is unusual and spectacular. Designer Moran takes inspiration from classic, traditional jewelry and uses textiles to create looks that are entirely new. She carefully captures the shapes of faceted gemstones using fabric, allowing her to create earrings and necklaces that emulate dramatic gemstone jewelry. Each piece is beautiful and intriguing and sure to make a lasting impression, pun intended.

Sandra Cadavid

For Colombian native Sandra Reiman, Sandra Cadavid represents a dream come true. The designer launched her handbag line in 2011, inspired by “the architecture, culture, history and people of Cartagena, Colombia.” Based in the U.S., Sandra works with experienced artisans in Colombia to create classic, luxurious bags.
