Craft Central: Meet Our Designers!

Posted in by

Clockwise from top left: Nicola Crawford; De Anna Kiernan; Jessica de Lotz; Jessica's jewelry.

Boticca designers Nicola Crawford, De Anna Kiernan and Jessica de Lotz are all showing at London’s Craft Central this weekend, and we had a chance to stop in for a visit (and a glass of champagne)! Craft Central is a non-profit organization that houses studio space for artists and designers. This weekend’s open studio event allows members of the public to meet these designers and see their work in person – a true pleasure for design fanatics like us!

It was great to see Nicola Crawford’s romantic pieces in person: she is showing several pieces, including her Lost Words Pendant and Single Kisses earrings. We were also able to chat with De Anna Kiernan about her bold Gold Quill Curve earrings and her Geometric Cocktail ring. Of course, we had to pop in and see the lovely Jessica de Lotz show off her quintessentially British designs, including her Hand Stamped Wax Seal necklace and her Personalized Hand Stamped Wax Seal bangle.

Stop by Craft Central this weekend, and don’t forget to check out Nicola Crawford, De Anna Kiernan and Jessica de Lotz here on Boticca!

P.S. Add these designers to your favorites list to get V.I.P. treatment. Learn more right here!

Jessica de Lotz Needs Your Help!

Posted in by

Designer Jessica de Lotz needs your help! The London-based jewelry designer is doing a 40 mile bike ride to raise money for the North London Hospice, and you can support her cause. From now until April 21, £50 from each sale of Jessica’s Initial Key Ring will go directly to the charity. Jessica explains why this cause means so much to her:

“For the past three years, I have done this sponsored 40 mile charity ride with my dad, who at almost 75 years old has managed to be the first to finish every time (with me closely following)!

Next year my very glam mum will be 70 years old, and when the time comes that my parents do need help, I want to know that I have done my very best to ensure that they receive the best care, as we all want for our wonderful parents. That’s why I’m supporting the North London Hospice, which relies on donations to provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to people who live with life-limiting illnesses.”

Pick up an Initial Key Ring today to support a great cause!

Perfect Presents

Posted in by

With the frenzy of the festive gift-buying season well under way, we give you the ultimate guide to buying a perfect, unique gift.

Make it personal. Run of the mill, on everyone’s top 10 list presents are easy. Make sure they know you’ve taken that extra little bit of care with a personalised present. We love Jessica de Lotz Jewellery’s Personalised Hand Stamped Wax Seal Necklace.

Think outside the box. Dorus Mhor’s Liberty Print Gem Bracelet is fashioned from vintage Liberty of London cotton fastened onto wooden beads for a delightfully different piece of bling.

Give the gift that keeps on giving. What are we talking about? Why fairtrade of course. As a licenced Fairtrade designer, 15% of Linnie Mclarty’s profits go towards ensuring a better working life for miners and for their families. We love the METTLE ring.

Life is better when you learn. Gemstones are not only beautiful and unique but each and every one has a separate meaning. From agate to amethyst, find out what each one means on our blog.

Make it local. Fly the flag for homegrown, local talent and pick an artist from your hometown. Boticca has over 200 designers from over 50 countries around the world.
