Designer Interview – Dominique Lucas

Posted in by

Of all the designers on Boticca, Dominique Lucas certainly has one of the most interesting stories. Mid way through her degree in medicine, Dominique went to Mexico to work in a hospital when the design bug well and truly bit her. Inspired by the mythical creatures referenced in her new environment, Dominique soon followed her heart and enrolled on a jewelry making course right then and there in Mexico. With her love for creation taking her onto Florence, Dominique is now back in London and based in Camden, which is where Boticca caught up with her to talk all things creative, mystical and down right pretty.

Introducing blogging sensation Emily Johnston of Fashion Foie Gras

Posted in by

Quite how Emily Johnston of Fashion Foie Gras manages to work full time as a PR guru and write a sensationally-received blog with up to 10 posts per day is quite beyond us.

American born but currently residing in the UK, Fashion Foie Gras was born out of Emily’s realization that inspiration for fashion can be found absolutely anywhere in our lives and her site is a fashion lovers dream, crammed full of fashion related facts from catwalk reports to shopping guides.

"As Fashion Foie Gras is all about reporting fashion news as it happens around the world, I’m constantly exposed to every angle of fashion and style. As a result my own wardrobe has taken many twists and turns over the past 18 months and it is a continually evolving being now with many people taking a hand in keeping it up to snuff! Thank heavens for designer and stylist friends!"

From necklaces, YSL inspired cuffs to beach bags, Emily gives us her unique take on Boticca style.
