Who wore it better?

Posted in by

With a limited number of ‘it’ dresses and a multitude of celebrities, it’s inevitable that sometimes, shock horror, celebs will be seen in the same ensemble. Here we take a look at these style twins and in a bid to make every look individual, we show you how the help of some unique accessories would win the style war every time.

Kourtney Kardashian Vs. Denise Richards

We say:

Another night another party for these two paparazzi favorites in Los Angeles. Arguably the most fashion forward of all her famous sisters, Kourtney makes a busy dress look even busier with a misstep in her accessory choice. The hefty black clutch is far too heavy for this chiffon number, she would have been far better off with the metalic Clutch mani: coppery pink by disco Noir. With such a rich tone in her outfit, Kourtney’s multi-coloured drop earrings are distracting, plain gold would have made the hue pop far more spectacularly. We love the simple elegance of the Uzbeki Style Garnet and Pearl earrings by Hedya.

Actress and mother of three Denise Richards on the other hand manages to looks picture perfect with her minimal accessories. However, it is always possible to look slightly too minimal so we would have jazzed this dress up with the simply chic Stella necklace by Dicha.

Considering Slim Paley only started her beautifully eclectic lifestyle blog on what she calls ‘a wing and a dare’ she really is having the last laugh now with her blog becoming the go-to guide for interiors and lifestyle inspiration.

Never one to sit still for long, Slim has called London, Vancouver, New York, Tokyo and LA home with her roots now firmly planted in California. With a love for travel running through her veins, Slim has visited Africa, India, Thailand, Greece and Bhutan in the last few years, using each trip as a valuable source for her seemingly endless inspiration.

Describing her blog as a combination of ‘travel, fashion, interiors, gardening and books – an eclectic brew’ Slim admits that despite all the critical acclaim for her blog, her greatest accomplishment is her 25 year strong marriage and her two sons.
