Inspiration
Here I wanted to match two of the "poorest" metals with the most precious one. (The once very rare) Aluminium is nearly the symbol of poverty, cheapness - while the gold is the opposit. Before the technology of the electrochemical production of aluminium, Napoleon had a very precious aluminium catering.
Description
An elegant and powerful unisex solid silver ring with steel disc and garnet gem.
The steel is set in the silver mounting and the garnet is held by the steel. Between the two metals there is a model wax film to prevent water to be trapped causing sly oxydation. On the back side of the ringhead there is my eye mark.
