Love it! It hasn't come off my hand since it arrived
London, United Kingdom
I am a London based jewellery designer, currently making and teaching in the industry. I launched Becky Dockree Jewellery in the summer of 2011 and have been working hard to increase exposure for my brand ever since. My jewellery is influenced by my passion for pattern I use etching techniques to create eye-catching designs, which conjure up many interpretations with different stories to be told. My etched designs originate from a mixed media painting I created when I was at University.
Every etched design is based on the female figurative form, which I have manipulated to create a series of interlocking shapes, which rotate and spiral across the metals surface.I have a sculptural background, graduating from the Sir John Cass School of Art and Design at the London Metropolitan University. Influences from this time have been introduced into the construction and form of my jewellery, taking past sculptural designs to a wearable public.
