Inspiration
This scarf is part of the 'fur' collection. The design is playing with ideas of luxury versus vermin, and reflects on the symbolism of wearing animal skins - as used in shamanism and in ancient times, and controversially also in contemporary fashion.
Description
The design on this wool-silk georgette shawl depicts mink fur stoles. The original is a pen and ink drawing.
It can be worn as a scarf or a wrap, and is surprisingly warm on a chilly evening. The design is visible on both sides, and it comes in a beautiful custom made gift box. Can be handwashed and ironed, or dry cleaned. Fits rolled up into a small handbag, perfect for changing weather.
