I have always had a fondness for hats, and after completing a degree in constructed textile design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, it seemed only natural that I took up a career in millinery. I began studying millinery with Rose Cory (the Queen Mother’s former milliner) in late 2009 and since then have gone on to produce 2 collections and worked on numerous commissions for clients including the Gossip Girl costume department in New York.
Working with a range of materials from knitted yarns to laser cut wood and fine silks to metal sheeting, I aim to sensitively combine contemporary and innovative textile designs with traditional British millinery techniques to produce unique pieces for both everyday wear and special occasions.

It has taken me some time to leave my feedback as I was very disappointed when I received the piece with quite a delay (but everybody tells me it is long from UK). The piece seems much thicker on the photo and the package was crashed as it was in a letter... with no damage but it is a gift... The positive is that the brocade is absolutely gorgeous and the thickness goes well on thick hair.
