The entire collection revolves around two fundamental concepts of Euclidean geometry: the point and the line. Each ring is part of my attempt to transpose into jewellery the relationship between these two geometrical elements.
“The line is the first species of quantity, which has only one dimension, namely length, without any width nor
depth, and is nothing else than the flow or run of the point which will leave from its imaginary moving some
vestige in length, exempt of any width.” (Euclides)
Constructed, entirely made by hand. The length of the upper line equals the length of the circle of the ring.
The silver wire has 2 mm in diameter, each diamond has 1,10 -1,13 mm in diameter.
