I work from my studio in South West London. I am passionate about jewellery and inspired by nature and Art Nouveau. I am particularly inspired by French Art Nouveau and love the fantasy and fairies behind it. I feel that I have developed a strong sense of my own aesthetics which come across in my style. I love things that are intricate, feminine, elegant. My jewellery often has a romantic and delicate feel about it. Quality and balance are also important.
The collections I am selling here are called 'Inspired Flower', 'Blossum' and 'Poppy'. The 'Inspired Flower' range follows these guidelines: simple, pretty, recognisable, subtly romantic, gold and silver, day or evening. This collection was spiritually inspired and is not representative of any particular flower which is its charm as many people identify different flowers. The 'Poppy' range has similar ethos, although generally more associated with evening wear. The 'Blossum' collections incorporate the 'Inspired Flower' spirit, with the addition of textured twigs in different designs. I made this collection with the blossom trees in Kyoto in mind. I love the simple, clean compositions of Japanese art which of course are the roots of Art Nouveau.
