Inspiration

For Spring/Summer 2012, Alexandra drew her inspiration from the Oscar-award winning movie “Black Swan” by Darren Aronofsky. Soft lambskin bandages bring to mind the ribbons on ballet slippers, while soft rose, lilac and ivory colours accentuate the lightness of movement. The collection is based on the creative concept of ‘simple serenity’: a blend of modernity and romance, achieved by mixing the linear with the loose; clean lines, ethereal shapes and no ruffles in sight. A soft design approach and some playful experimentation with materials and textures give life to her softest and most feminine collection to date.

Description

The Audrey tote is smaller and rounder compared to the classic Alexis tote, but made with the same buttery soft Italian calfskin and lambskin handles and laces. The bag is pleated at the front and back giving it a uniquely soft shape. Gold logo on the front.This spring, make a statement in the office by matching the Audrey tote with an on-trend wrap dress and chunky gold jewelry.- Top zipper closure
